Garrisons Lake is held back by Garrisons Lake Dam , a concrete gravity structure, resisting the reservoir by its own weight alone , standing 11 ft high and running 830 ft along its crest , built across LEIPSIC RIVER in Kent County , near LEIPSIC . It was completed in 1964 and modified in 2014H , and is owned by DELDOT;DNREC DFW (a state owner) .
